UBI day 2: Wheels

Today was focused on wheel lacing, building, truing, tension etc. We went through the different spoke patterns and the reasoning behind them. Everybody had to build a front and rear wheel with less than 1mm of descrepincy and tension them perfectly. After I built my wheels I had the pleasure of tearing them down and handing the parts back over.
The course was very straight foreward and easy to learn. 2 weeks from now I will do the advanced wheel building course and go through much more detail. Todays learning was solid and a good refresher.
Also, I started counting Subaru cars on my 1 mile walk to class and lost count somewhere around 30. Thes folks love their Subarus.
